Lotus notes Error: File already exists
Cause: The Bookmark.nsf file has became corrupted.
Resolution
Symptom: The "File already exists" error displays when opening Lotus Notes (after having entered the password)
Resolution: Follow the solutions below:
Solution 1
Close Lotus Notes
Find and rename the Bookmark.nsf file
Restart Lotus Notes
Be aware of any customized buttons in the bookmark file. They will be lost since Notes will create a new Bookmark.nsf file to replace the renamed one.
Solution 2
Recreate names.nsf and strip notes.ini.
